Ovi shares maps on your phone and PC

SAN FRANCISCO, USA – Nokia Maps head, Michael Halbherr, was at the Where 2.0 Conference yesterday and gave a glimpse at the Web version of Nokia Maps. As part of Ovi, Maps on Ovi provides a browser interface for map markup and searching. What’s more, the items you save in Maps on Ovi can be uploaded to your phone. For example, you can create a travel route and collect map information on a big-screen computer and then have it all synchronized to your phone for when you are out and about.
