GLOBAL – Now the dust has settled on the hullabaloo (and rightly so!) surrounding the Symbian Foundation, Conversations has trawled through the bulging comment boxes of various sites, including our very own, to gauge the public’s reaction to the new open source Symbian OS. The world’s press and tech experts have had their two penneth; now it’s the turn of the tech community to speak up.

GLASTONBURY, England – The festival might be over, and the fields clear of tents but that doesn’t mean we have to forget about it. As previously reported here, to support the Love of the Farm – Leave no trace project, a moblog has been set up to document the happenings of the UK bestest summer music festival.

ESPOO, Finland - I saved a few links for today since most had an aspect of the future of how the digital and physical collide. We seem to be so focused on devices still, much like, I presume, cavemen (cave people?) probably sat around the fire discussing round and round flint techniques and flint celebrities. But, I’m more of a scholar rather than a gadget maven and like to pull back and ask what it all means to our future as humans.

GLOBAL – New device launches always get us wobbly round the knees here and after recently wooing the business classes with the fantastic E66 and E71 devices, Nokia has now ventured over to the other side of the handset scale, hoping to attract the fashion set with its new Supernova quartet.
