Hi,

My wife received a SMS @ 05:00am. Informing her that her number was automatically drawn and she is the proud winner of R95 000.00 in the (Nokia Promotion) To claim her price she should contact Mr Paul Basson @ 072 047 3773 with a ticket number: 0166P...

After I phone on behalf of my wife, Mr Paul asked for the ticket number, my wife's cell number and my wife’s name, He also asked if I could phone him back in 5 minutes to verify her winning details, and hang up. After 5 minutes when I phone back Mr Paul mysteriously disappear and is not able to answer his phone....

I don't know what they are planning in getting from this scam, but I am sure I did not fit his profile as a prospective victim...

Please look out for this SMS... Remember the Name is Mr Paul Basson and the number is +27720473773.

Kind Regards,

@MiGs - Wow, your comments say it all. That's why these scams proliferate. You must be the #1 search item for folks looking to see if this is true. I think you might want to have klaxon sounds and big red flashing 'SCAM' to make it even more clear.
