Alas, Ricky, it _was_ a video call I made. I wasn't using any sort of client. It was actually pretty weird. After I typed I typed in the number and made it as a video call, I got some graphical interface to enter a few codes (I forget exactly what, but was related to the conference I was dialing into). Then it showed me the four quadrants - one with Phil at his home, the London guys, and the Espoo guys. One quadrant was empty, presumably for one more call (same was happening in our conference room (though I do not recall where I showed up).

Sorry, close, but no cigar. It was indeed a video call (and, what, the 3rd I've ever made).

The most exciting thing that I took out of this is that Charlie was able to dial-in and stream video, presumably without it registering as a 'video call' to his provider - just using straight data.

I for one would be SUPER-PUMPED to see a 'dumbed down' consumer version of Halo made available for...well...consumers. Video VOIP on S60, with a web client and Tablet client, as well.

Or, Gizmo could just add video to its S60 client. :)

Seeing faces in good quality gives new dimensions to meeting compared to telco´s. We´re designed to communicate with other in the comprehensive style - both verbally and non-verbally. Eye contact is important!

It's also a good thing to reduce our carbon emission.
