While I&#039;m curious how something like the battery/RAM situation could slip through the design and testing process within Nokia- I can&#039;t help but agree with you that this is something that real-world testing by consumers/bloggers could have assessed and assisted the product team to rectify before committing a near disaster. Very good point, indeed.

		<description>Not that the rest of the post was unimportant, but I think the idea of a consumer/blogger-influenced product creation process is completely brilliant, and I&#039;m almost certain it&#039;s not a new idea somewhere within the walls of Nokia HQ. As the company quickly becomes the most active in communicating with the public at large (and bloggers), it&#039;s only a natural extension, I believe.

I&#039;m looking forward to hearing more of this idea of doing more to involve the community of Nokia fanboys in the creation of a device - BEFORE the specs of said device are finalized. We likely could have avoided such atrocities as the N95-1&#039;s battery/RAM.
