Not uncommonly it is seen that various mobile software&#039;s have compatibility issues with different hardware devices of the same make.

But most of the users are indifferent towards this. More information should be provided along-with the device about its OS platform.

		<description>I think you are always going to need more than one platform. No single platform is flexible enough to accommodate all combination of needs.

The one thing I hope we see with a unified Symbian platform is the ability to make it modular. It seems silly to flash the whole device when, say, the web browser needs a security vulnerability update.

Modularity would also make it a lot easier to adapt the core Symbian to other uses (e.g. strip out unneeded/unwanted features, add others).
