I use my column to try and bring new topics to the PC World audience, based more on the social impact of technology (and mobile in particular) rather than just the technology itself. I feel Nokia's recent announcement has been largely under-reported, yet to me it's one of the more significant events to take place in the mobile/ICT4D space for a while.
