Eco phones: Vote for what you think is most important!

By Mike on 09 February 2009

GLOBAL – Welcome to the first ever poll on Nokia Conversations! Each week we’ll be asking you to vote on hot topics. The ambition is that your responses will help steer some of what we write about here – no doubt there will be controversial consensuses and surprise results, both of which will lead us to probe deeper and write follow-up stories on the subjects that interest you most.

Plus, of course, we want you to suggest poll questions (visit our suggest a topic page) – questions you’d like seen answered by the Nokia Conversations community. So to kick things off we thought we’d run a poll on eco phones and ask what do you think is most important?

So get involved and get your vote counted today!

I have voted for Solar Power, but of course there are some others that can be improved at the same time, such as recyclable materials (no need to use New materials, so don’t damage the environment), replacement parts (why to buy a new phone if you like the one you have and the problem is just a part of it?) and re-use (for those who can’t afford a new mobile phone, which are a lot, specially in under developed countries).

Make your phones more water resistant. That will save a lot of people money and save the environment. In my experience, your phones are rock solid regarding dropping but they are very susceptible to water.

Of your battery capacity is too low, and some mobile phone form factor is very rough, the small screen. I am a Chinese student, but I do not have much money to buy high-end mobile phone, I like NOKIA,THANKS!

You should 7310C and 7610S upgraded to S60V3, which is too beautiful, really it is a pity they are not S60. So their sales are not very good, is it?

Replacement parts is a very interesting topic but sophisticated to reach due to the frequent innovations.
