   Yes.. The N97 will be a direct competitor (and i-killer) to the Apple i-Phone, provided it is released to the USA, in a workable (read un-neutered..) version, before the i-Phone becomes extinct!

   Hopefully Nokia will have the intestinal fortitude to stand up against the “big 4″ and release a fully USA 3G, fully functional phone to users in the USA (unlocked, no contract required..)

   HTC, Samsung and LG thus far have not been able to do this (Touch HD, etc..), instead they choose to buckle under pressure and release small screened, non professional fodder aimed at teenagers with little to no disposable income.

   the OS seems rather slow though…. at least the reaction time on this video is not overwhelming. looks kinda like on my n95.
