based on nokia product release trending, the blacks usually come sometime (3-6mos for most) after official launch of the product.

Looks lovely
Hopefully it will reach Sweden since E55 won’t.
Although I do wish it was a bit thicker so a better camera and xenon flash would fit, hopefully we will see a relatively small candybar device with that in the N-series in a not too distant future. N82 is getting old.

I echo the need for a black model… that manure brown shade is hideous!! I have a black E50 now, and have been waiting patiently to replace it… come on black E52!!!

Probably the best TELEPHONE in the last several years. A real one. I mean, decent keypad, battery life, that sort of ACTUALLY IMPORTANT stuff, if you’ll excuse my caps. But for heaven’s sake, make it BLACK please! A serious color for a serious phone, otherwise it makes no sense. Grey is nice but gay, and golden is nice but sleazy. I know Nokia is considering black, they put teaser photos here and there (http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/E52), enough of it, it’s clear many people want it. Even E66 came up in black after all, so why wait?

I would like to request Nokia to release E52 in Black color along with others. I think many people do not like Grey. If E52 is in black, definately, it will go into my pocket.

seriously, its one hella classic slim phone with such a friendly intuitive ergnomics. thank you nokia.
my only grief now is the lack of video-out feature. unfortunately its nowhwere to be found in e-series.
E-series phones are meant to be nokia business phones.
nokia, do you think it is not cool to make a visual presentation (slides, powerpoint, etc) by using a small/simple gadget like an e-series phone via 3.5mm audio+video-out to a projector screen/TV?
nokia, could you please make a survey if a video-out is usable/functional feature. thanks.

I am looking forward to the e52. My e51 has served me well but the D-pad is pretty knackered now (all the paint has come off alas). For me the e51 is my perfect companion that would be improved by adding and auto-focus camera, light and GPS. Seems that the e52 does all this plus an even better battery life.
And I’m with all those who’ll be waiting for the black version.

Because of marketing thoughts. If they do, N-series will lose some of the consumer army.

Come on Nokia – the black version out now, please.
When you launched this phone it was going to be available in 3 colours – Metal Grey Aluminium; Graphite Grey; and Golden Aluminium – i am quoting from your own “Data sheet”, which you can still download from the web. You even released pictures of all three colours – metal grey looks weak, golden looks odd and graphite grey looks professional.
Unfortunately (for the UK at least) you have only released the wishy-washy grey thing.
THE TIME FOR BLACK – or Graphite Grey if you prefer – IS NOW.
Have a look at this forum and the rest of the web – there is a lot of desire for this great phone to be in the right colour. That would be black, by the way, in case you haven’t got the message yet.

This is really nice. Hope you can release the BLACK or GRAPHITE GREY version very very soon. It looks nicer. When will you release black version in Hong Kong? Hope this will be the upgraded version already with no bugs! =P

I have been waiting for the release of E52 in Dubai and Oman. The phone did release, but only in the Metal grey colour. what about the Gold Aluminum? The Gold Aluminum looks smart, and i have searched in almost 20-25 stores and they say t hasnt released yet. When is the E52 Gold Aluminum releasing in Dubai? It doesnt seem to be available in the UK and Germany too.

wow, the color of golden-aluminium reminds me of the Nokia 6700 Classic Brown.
