I've been using the BETA versions of Maps for a long time now. Becane more outspoken about Maps 3 BETA at the beginning of this year when I started discussing it in the Nokia BetaLabs Forums (http://betalabs.nokia.com/forums/nokia-maps-30-with-ovi-maps/). The application is looking pretty good and should be due for another update any time. There are bugs, but it is a BETA downloadable from http://betalabs.nokia.com/betas/view/nokia-maps-30-with-ovi-maps

The Web interface is basd at maps.ovi.com. There were some login issues recently but those appear to be sorted now.

Other great additions in Maps 3 with OVI Maps is Speed Limit Warnings and Safety Camera Warnings.

Something to add on the API side would be Event POIs so that when you are using OVI Maps you could see that there is an event in you local area. Just a thought.
