Looking pretty clean, other than a couple of issues I notice:
1) Before logging in I had the option to choose my phone as it appears to default to the 5800 Xpress Music. Once logged in my account was set to the 5800 Xpress Music, even thuogh I have been an OVI member for a long long time and have only one phone set up on it N95 8Gb. To change my phone to the correct one I had to go to account. Also in account my phone number had lost the “+” at teh beginning. This has been pulled across form my main OVI account too, without the “+”.
2) Noticed leakage of the main pane into the footer of the page on certain screens.
Over all, looking good though. I class the above as minor teathing issues.

Two things.
There’s a lot of discussion on Twitter.
@ovistore is the place to send comments and queries.
We, @nokconv, have been having a fun time this morning (I’m in Finland today) watching the world light up as folks report back successful (or not) access of the store.

Store.ovi.com,
Nokia Web browser,
Nokia N95 8GB.
Chose a game to download, it asked me to sign in. After entering username and password and clicking sign in, Web crashed with KERN-EXEC 3.

The biggest question hanging on everyone’s lips is it an iPhone store killer?

How can i set Ovi Store to use wifi-connections? It is always using my gsm-connection (no 3g in my office building), even without asking. I cannot find any way to switch connections.

The most interesting part of this post is an explanation how to get to this store. I bet most of Nokia phone users have no idea where to start.

Where is the Facebook app? This is a necessity! Gravity should be on the site too!

I seem to get an error following the link from http://www.ovi.com at the bottom. Maybe a cookies issue?

Congrats on launching Ovi Guys – it is indeed a monumental day for Nokia and the mobile world! Will Nokia apps be running on non nokia handsets? Is there a roadmap for Ovi?

Well I don’t think many people are too impressed. Check out our initial feelings about it: http://bit.ly/rOCcM

Why do you have to put a “plus” sign in front of your mobile number to validate it? Frustrating and STUPID.

I use Gmail filters to deal with my mail. Along with usernale@gmail.com, you can have username+anytexttofilter@gmail.com.
My Nokia account email address was already set to username+nokia@gmail.com but when I edit my Ovi account to set the correct phone, it insists “E-mail must be a valid e-mail address.”
But it is valid!
Even Wikipedia thinks it is!
“Conversely, many websites make the mistake of checking email addresses too strictly, rejecting addresses containing perfectly valid characters like + or / signs.”
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-mail_address#Validation
Please don’t over-validate. It means I can’t use Ovi.
Thanks!

The “Suggested for me” and “Show all” dropdowns just briefly flicker then never show again when using Opera 9.64 on Windows XP. So I’m stuck seeing only those categories.

“This service is not available in your area. This service is not available in your area.”
Why Nokia is always not considering Middle East as a priority market.

Is Ovi Store available in Israel? I’ve been searching for this icon in the Download folder for hours, but haven’t found one. Should it be available for all Nokia devices?
From the post this sounds very nice, and I’m waiting for a moment to try it!

Why haven’t you transferred all the content you have removed from Download! ?
Specifically, there now seems to be no way at all to dowload and install the Mircosoft Windows Live client.
It was formerly only available from Download! and is not available from Ovi Store.
