There is no doubt in my mind that gesture functionality will become more important, however, it appears to be just a fad at the moment with little genuine use for this feature. I can see it coming though.

Are you talking here about interactive sensors similiar to those previewed earlier this by Sony Playstation, and the current technology that drives the Nintendo console? If you are then I think it is a good use of this technology. Gestures are global and as such cross language barriers and are therefore a good idea.

Hi Charlie,
Thanks for the reply. I’ll really be waiting for a feedback on that (i.e. for my previous comment to be proven wrong).
Cuz, i’m So sure those things (sales,advertising,marketing,business,etc) are what they do (NOTE: I’m pointing my finger at Nokia-Nigeria, NOT Nokia Global – *they* are doing a whole lot !).

W..e..l..l.. besides Nokia Maps and N97 which will soon be launched here in Nigeria.. But that’s still an expanded form of the others (i.e. sales,advertising,marketing,business,etc).

@SoulBlade, I am not sure what other things Nokia does in Nigeria beyond selling phones (as in, any research, corporate programs, and so on). But we’ll ask and see what we can find out.
