im so tired of this nokia had made it wrose for it self by not realsing this fone on tim…they made the phone specs available so long ago that its now behind the current mrket now…so ppl who ever buys this phone be ready for another upgrade of this model with 6-8 months bc by the time it comes out it will be already outdate as it is…NOKIA what kind of bloody hell-0 move this was suppose to be making people angery by making them wait for so long not a good idea…this phone when annouced was on the top of its game and now its at the bottom of the market, big deal 5mp cam, opitical key no big screen, i wanted this phne so badly but not i have another phone

Looks like there was never a fone E72 and what they did for launch was to camoflage an E71 and show…. LOL maybe they r still developing it…. or from launch to production, the time could be 1 year… Nokia are you listening???

With BB 8520 avaiaible unlocked E72 has done serious damage to its sale by launch delay. Any BB model sub 20,000/- Indian Rupees with WLan and 3G will eat through E72. E72 is waiting to be trapped on wrong foot. advantage lost….!.

Why dont every one think in other terms. May be phone has sosme issues with its software or hardware. Nokia wants to fix and then release it to market. Its good na, if we get the phone in good shape, than getting a malfunctioning phone. I think that can degrade nokia than being late.

I think nokia try to prolong the life of E71. To make E71 looks good. And I believe nokia did the wrong strategy.

*IF* nokia have only a single product to rule us all a.l.a iphone, than, nokia could delay the E72.

*BUT* since nokia doing this the finish way (instead of the american way) which i think is the right way… delaying the E72 is not really good. In fact, nokia should accelerate half year – 1 year of product… introducing a lot of device to catch up the current market.

*american way = 1 device to rule them all a.l.a iphone.
*finish way = if you need 5th edition with keyboard, take n97, no need keyboard, take 5800xm, no need wifi take…. GOOD WAY. but please accelerate your product please!!!!

Hi,

I agree that nokia really need to accelerate their phone introduction. for example the nokia 5530, 5800, and 5230 deserve to be launched together. dragging the 5800 variant introduction such as the 5530 and 5230 is a real shame. as it no real benefit in doing so. Nokia could present their 5800 sales figure along with their variant. and it would even show that the 5800 along with their variant could rule the world.

I also hope when X6 really launched to the market it would be sell with it’s variant too.

When nokia first play with the idea of E72, the phone really looks great. and I want it badly.

BUT, right now…. N900 might kill some of the E72 potential buyer (count me).

And N97 mini could also kill some E72 buyer, because it have the same ammount of RAM (256MB), but have extra storage on board (8GB), have a larger screen and 16:9 ratio, around the same size, have a metal casing (instead of N97 plastic casing), and will have around the same price.

So, E72? 1 year ago… YES! YES! YES!
6 month ago? Yipppiee… YES!
after N97mini/N900? Maybe!

is this phone coming out before christmas or is it already out because the nokia site still says pre-order so if i pre-order it when will i get it :@ ?
