No need to fiddle with a Python script (there are several around) or for an Ovi Store app, this stuff is built into the Nokia camera application and has been since the Nokia 6630 came out in May 2005, and that's an ancient Series 60 2.6 device.

Just go to the camera application and select the sequence mode, then you can pick 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes.

Some step-by-step screenshots here:

"We (on Conversations) don’t, so until someone turns this into an app and makes it available on Ovi Store, we’ll be time lapse free for now."

JBC, don't you remember posting this time lapse video yourself only 12 months ago? That was shot on an N82. It even showed up as a "related post" above :)
