Ovi goes global
By JBC on 10 July 2009
GLOBAL - You’ve probably used the video camera on your device to record other people plenty of times, but have you ever thought about turning the camera on yourself? To promote the roll out of Ovi in three new languages (German, Italian and Spanish) the Ovi team want you to create your own video and submit it to them. The best ones will be edited and shared through Ovi’s online channels. It all started when the team, auditioning German, Italian and Spanish actors realised they had enough footage to create what is a pretty cool video. Now they want to do more, but using your submissions instead.
You can check out the below and on Ovi’s Facebook page (well worth a look). Then create your own interpretation (ad libbing is allowed) and submit it to the team for review. We’ve highlighted the first couple of submissions below to help you get inspired. It’s recommended that you use your Nokia device to record the footage and the team simply want you to explain why you’re a fan of Ovi and what Ovi does for you. There’s a script below which you can use or feel free to make up your own. Most importantly, the team want you to have fun. You can send submissions to the Ovi Team.

i find Ovi completely useless, Ovi Store won’t let me download anything. I just get bounced between login & the app that I want 2 download time after time after time. Ovi & Nokia ignore my complaints, I’ve made a few. They don’t even acknowledge my e-mails. I’m looking 4 a new phone & it won’t be a Nokia after such appallin customer service.
