Conversations in your ears [Update]
By JBC on 27 July 2009
GLOBAL – Earlier this year we introduced a new feature here on Conversations in the form of blogbite. Essentially it’s a round up of the week’s stories, wrapped up in a three minute audio show, presented by Dan and Rob. Every week the boys put their unique spin on the hot topics of the week, picking out the juiciest stories that appeared on Conversations. It’s a great way to catch up on the week’s news, and given the unique spin, is worth a listen even if you read the site on a daily basis.
There are some things you can do with audio that simply aren’t possible with words. How, for example, could we come up with a plausible parakeet impersonation, as Rob did when talking about the Wild Wonders of Europe story in this week’s episode? Simply not possible, which makes the addition of blogbite a really cool extra for Conversations.
This week the chaps also picked up on our Cameraphone poll (results follow up coming tomorrow), though Dan still maintains that the most important feature of a cameraphone, is in fact the camera. He makes up for it though with his passion for geekery and the ensuing enthusiasm for the N73 Micrsoscope story.
You can pick up the blogbite right here on the site using our built-in audio player. Alternatively you can subscribe to the RSS or directly in iTunes. If you haven’t already, we’d recommend you add it to your weekly info-digest. It’s worth it just to hear Dan’s grumbles and Rob’s squeaks.
UPDATE: You can also pick up blogbite directly on your device’s Podcasting application. You’ll find it listed in the “Featured” podcast directory inside the Podcasting application.
If you’re already a blogbite regular, let us have some feedback here.

Hmm the RSS feed is not working for me in the podcast application on my 5800XM?? Or actually the RSS feed seems to work but only two episodes show up, but they are almost a year old??
