Video: What is unlocked?

   I like the unlock device phone video but there is a really big problem with sim locked devices in the uk as nearly all service providers lock and preload their own software on all phones sold in the uk to get them unlocked you have to pay the service provider a substantial fee or use a back street unlocker where there is no guarantee that it will work.
   As some providers offer much better deals like unlimited internet for a reduced cost but our tied down to the one who has locked the phone.
   yet in France say if you where to say but the phone exact same model it would be unlocked as the video says
   why can it not be a ruling like the new power cable mine usb rule where the phone is as intended unlocked
   I do not know the reason for this as it also stops firmware updates as most service providers do not release the firmware update due to the preloaded software they have loaded on the phone why may I ask why not let the phone update and be unlocked so that you can use the phone it its full potential as nokia had intended.
