so what is the big buzz about? did I miss something? it’s just another small laptop.. like all the other small laptops. or are we supposed to call them ‘netbooks’, ‘notebooks’? don’t 10 other companies have the exact same thing? or developing them anyway? what makes this stand out? just another windows Os (whether it’s 7 or 200 who cares).. the video was extremely boring to say the least, and that made it feel even longer than 1.30mins. Nothing exciting about it, and the music! what on earth was that??? check out maemo.nokia.com and see what a mini computer really is. forget the iphone, the N900 is da bomb! and this ‘booklet’ is just not impressive at all…

…looks nice; but Win7 and then only 1GB RAM – for that price? To bad Nokia – you missed the chance.

I guess this netbook is only for ladies. It’s finally a nice 10″ mirror. Why do manufacturer still produce these glare displays. Netbooks are mainly designed for on the road and there you are faced with always different light conditions and backgrounds. Really stupid.

3G Looks like a nice machine but been a sales guy on the road – it just wouldn’t cut it, srceen is just to small. Well done Nokia but me thinks you have missed the boat on design and cost on this one. The N900 is going to be the likely choice for me moving forward but again, cost is an issue but I expect my carrier will provide a reduced cost as an upgrade. Nokia – keep designing but keep the RRP down –

Yes- it looks perfect. But there is one big problem for me… Why OS is Windows? If OS will be Mac OS, I will buy it, but I think, here will be never Mac OS…
So, in other way… Linux…
But I cant see windows more time

It’s not possible upgrading the RAM which is bad! Many ppl complain about this fact. Another issue is the hdd, which could have been a ssd instead. I will definitely buy the netbook if Nokia decides to release at least a ssd-option-model. If so, the RAM would be that big of an issue. Please do so(:

The US$800 is far too much and then with microsoft, I could maybe get up to US$600 but then with a Finnish operating system which happens to be secure, faster and less demanding.
I can’t see why people would like to have a operating system with many big security issues, requiring all the memory that you can fit into this booklet and the Atom CPU won’t be enough to run the american overpriced OS.
Give the people the freedom, install Linux as default and those who want to run microsoft, can buy it and install it.

The big deal is Nokia quality. Plus the looks. Quality much better then Apple gear. While looks not as good as Apple, but still good. Otherwise I agree with you.
