It has to be the N900 above all else c”, then the X6 and Booklet 3G. Nokia has to clarify this once and for all, is X6 a capacitative touch? and regarding the comes with music service that goes long with X6 and X3, does this mean that other countries without the comes with music service cannot buy this phones?

The X6 package looks incredibly interesting, but would you please get rid of the DRM already? I would get Comes With Music in a heartbeat if it wasn’t for the DRM.

Not on the X6, though. Voted N900 ;)

If X6 would release in the States, it would be my favourite because I long for Comes With Music. As it stands, I have to vote N900.

of course it’s the n900! preorder tomorrow. amazed by how little emphasis vanjoki gave to maemo / n900, compared to all the really boring symbian / n97 stuff. he was right from the beginning though: amazing how nokia still let veterans on the stage.

i think the N900 is my favorite. but the N97 mini is also good. the only thing is the high price.

It’s cheaper. The only thing why it’s not as good as N900 is the poor CPU, low amount of RAM and lack of HW accelerated graphics.

Sorry Nokia, N-Series is for schoolyard. No new E-Series device and the E55 seems to be lost?! What a shame….
hey, but great idea to put another OS on the table, that will simplify sync once more. And why should I stay with Symbian or does it mean, that Symbian is at is end?
    Get serious!

Agree with max on this one, nice looking devices, but where is the true high end device for business users. The N900 is the best of the batch announced, but a true high end business phone in the E series (and a replacement for the soon to be discontinued E90) is well overdue.

Also why this focus on touch screens, in the real world where phones get dropped sat on etc then a nice touch screen not only will get broken or damged, i have yet to try a touch screen phone that works as fast as the standard qwerty keyboard.

Anyone care to spec what the replacement E90 should contain?
I would suggest a candy bar that splits with a big internal screen. Peoples thoughts??

We admire N900 but still it has some things left compare to N97. We tend to conclude that N900 is better. Lets just say N97 is different from N900.

I was expecting from giant Nokia to introduce much more superior devices that will compete and bit competition. No faster processors, 8 mp cameras, etc’. This is very poor show for Nokia. The business market has been neglected completely.

    Let’s see
N97Mini already suffering from N97 blues – Sorry
X Series – Music is not my ballpark – Sorry
Booklet 3G – Please at this price I’m better off with a real notebook combined with my E71
N900 – Now that’s something to talk about , alas cannot preorder it in Pakistan , still will be one of the first to buy it when it’s available

I hope that Nokia knows how many many people will buy a N900. For many of them, including me, this IS the ultimate phone right now, an far, far better than the Apple Phone.

We dont need an iPhone Killer, it’s already dead when it looks in the eyes of N900. ;)

A agree with ones who said ‘N900 is the best far’

IT’S WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST NOKIA PHONE AND BY THE SAME TIME THE BEST PHONE IN THE WORLD !!!

Maemo is a very promising mobile OS and remember : it’s jsut step 4 of 5 !

    I can’t imagine what Maemo 6 will be !

So I would be curious to see maemo runnig on a touch netbook … it could be great !

Apple Iphone is very far behind N900, only Apple fanboys can yet say that there is nothing better …

Maemo is open (no need to jailbreak)
Maemo is Linux (great community and apps)
Maemo is modular (you can easily customize it)
    Maemo is powerful and beautiful

N900 was very interesting, although I will probably not buy it and instead wait for the next Mameo device, which is hopefully smaller and lighter. Besides, I just got a Nokia E52 and it will continue to be my phone for quite some time.

Nokia Booklet 3G is also very interesting, very slim and sleek, looks gorgeous. But I would never buy a Windows computer today without a minimum of 2GB of RAM, and it’s impossible to upgrade the RAM of the Booklet so that’s no go. The high price was a bit of a turn-off too, I don’t really want to pay more than 400e for a netbook. Maybe the next Booklet device?

So while they made me go “wow” I felt they also had negative points that I couldn’t accept, and instead keep what I have and eagerly wait into whatever these product lines evolve to.

Bit disappointed that we didn’t get to see any candybar product, a candybar version of the N86 would have been nice (same camera and so on). Been about 1.5 years since Nokia announced their last xenon flash device, isn’t it time for a new camera centric device soon?

Sorry guys but symbian is tooooo boring !!
Imagine remote accessing your phone from anywhere because of running X ! Imagine Running apache on it !! heck , even Transmission is there !!! P2P on the N900 ! This the best phone that has EVER been made . EVER .

N900 otherwise superb, way too bulky. Need to get rid of that stupid qwerty, don’t need that with 3.5” screen. And why TFT-screen, it should have AMOLED!

Hopefully we are going to see more Maemo-based devices, Symbian is so updated and boring.

While I understand your not liking the qwerty keyboard, I for one am a fan of them and dont mind the add heft that they incur.
To tell you the truth I wouldn;t WANT another phone with out the keyboard. That being said I most strongly agree on the screen….perfect size however not AMOLED? I can only guess the battery is going to be strained by the computing power of this device and then to power a screen like this has me ……concerned.

I have a G1 does well for me however the battery lasts less than a day with really no heavy lifting. I am not on the internet often have WiFi and GPS turned off. By 12 or 1 pm I am looking for one of the (seems like 50) many chargers I have spread out around work/home/car ect.

I will buy this and hope for the best in the power area Thank goodness that T-Mobile is picking up.

Before the specs and price of the Booklet 3G came out, I was awaiting it eagerly. Now, my enthusiasm for it has abated somewhat. My E75 and Lenovo IdeaPad S10 make a good partnership, and I don’t know if the Booklet has enough pluses over the S10 for me to switch (assuning it will be available retail without any carrier packages). It’s the N900 that seems to bode better for Nokia’s success.

Oh, if Nokia can make the Booklet’s specs and price better.

Is the E72 never going to be released? We haven’t had any new press releases for nearly 3 months now. It was the one handset that I was really looking forward to hearing more about at Nokia World. It was quoted to be released late Q3. Will this ever happen?

Having never owned a Nokia (always went with Sony/Ericsson) and coming up to renewal in October, I had already decided on the new Satio……however, Nokia has managed to blow me away with the N900 and I am, for the first time, going to switch brands! I just hope my carrier of choice picks this great looking device up, as otherwise, it looks like I will change carrier too for the first time in 10 years!!

Great work Nokia….I now can’t wait!
