Tune into the latest news

By JBC on 14 September 2009

blogbite-12LONDON, England – Once more Dan and Rob enter the fray to highlight the juiciest news nuggets from the last seven days on Conversations. Blogbite is a great way to catch up on the latest stories on Conversations, specially if you haven’t stopped by for a few days, as the all the most important stuff gets picked up. And this week is no exception. Mopping up the final bits of Nokia world, taking a look beyond the latest tech, as well as at the latest tech, all form part of this week’s show.

First up comes the Nokia World 09 popularity content. Which device was the most popular at Nokia World, according to 2,670 Nokia Conversations readers? Well it wasn’t the Nokia Booklet 3G (that was the second most popular) but the N900. Find out why in Mike’s story about the poll.

The final part of the Nokia World 09 jigsaw of stories from Conversations came in the form of our comment of the week. Last week’s winner of the ever popular Gravity application had a different, if not quite positive spin on things from Nokia World, citing confusion over the overall Nokia offering as his major impression from the show, and questioning whether less, not more choice, is the way forward for Nokia. It’s an interesting debate to open up and one we’d like to hear from all you about.

Last week we revealed three videos from the folks behind The Progress Project, powered by Nokia and Lonely Planet. It’s aim is to lift the lid on some of the work being done in emerging markets, and beyond, to try and help stimulate some debate, and interaction around it. if you haven’t watched the videos yet, please make yourself a nice cup of tea and then head over to our Progress Project story where you can watch them all in one place.

Rounding out the latest Blogbite are two stories covering the newest feature of Nokia music devices, debuting on the Nokia X6 – Playlist DJ. Check out how it works here, before taking a look at the latest device to be launched, in partnership with Verizon, the Nokia 7705 Twist.

You can tune into Blogbite right here on the site using our built-in audio player. Alternatively you can subscribe to the RSS or hit it up directly in iTunes. If you haven’t already, we’d recommend you add it to your weekly info-digest.

You can also pick up blogbite directly on your S60 device’s Podcasting application. You’ll find it listed in the “Featured” podcast directory inside the Podcasting application.
Until next week’s show…
