wow c”, US is really far behind in mobile phone technology! 5130 is like an 8 month old phone and they like the feature less iphone!

After reading this I started wondering if this is really an international blog or if it is US-centered.

5130 has been around for quite some time here in Brazil, but I haven’t seen a mere footnote about its launch countryside or at least in Latin America.

I really can’t tell how relevant it is to announce the release of an already old (although good) entry-level product in US without even mentioning it is been already released in other markets six months ago.

For instance, N97 has been released and N97 Mini is in presale in Brazil, but I haven’t seen any comments about it here. Nokia is #1 here, by the way.

    Stick to relevant posts, guys.

I had purchased Nokia xpress music 5130. and within 45 days the sreen(LCD) went off. I had downloaded around 22 songs. As promised the 5130 series has a problem. I was not the only one at the customers service with problem related to 5130. A lady had purchased the same and her set is very slow,it took 1-2 minutes to access between the options. And her handset was just 3 days old. Now it has been one month since i had given the mobile for repairing and till now i have not recieved the status of same. So guys i think twice before purchasing

Due to trust on Nokia brand , I bought Nokia 5130 on 19.7.09,
but not satisfied with the battery standby hours – it only can stand
    for 1 ~ 1.5 day with taking hours about 30 ~ 45minute.
Immediate following week i refer to the phone shop where I
bought the phone and they replace with new battery.
2nd time ( next following week ) I complain again and this time
they said my phone need to clear all files and they clear all files and re-fresh the phone system and change new battery but the problem still same…..battery only can stand about 1 ~ 1.5 day. 3rd time i complain and this time phone service center sent my phone to Nokia care center and after one week they inform me that the phone no problem…….
This time I personnaly went to Nokia care center at No.4, Jalan Goh Hock Huat, Klang and strongly complained and this time they change my phone module ( mother board ) from ESN / MEI NO. 354223031785570 to 356040030783779 and battery but there is no inprovement on battery standby hours…….only can use the phone for 1 ~ 1.5 day and talk hours about 40 minute. This time i strongly make complain to Nokia care center management ( Mr.Peter ) and he request me to hand over this phone to Nokia care center and he carried out him self the testing.
He inform that his testing result is – Talking time 48 minute and battery stand 31 hrs ( 1.5 days ) and stand by mode ( no call in and out ) more than 1 week. and inform that this phone no problem. I request to change the phone they never give any answer and request to collect back the phone from service centere. I have question them what is the recomended talking hours they still no answer……. MY SUGGESTION IS THIS PHONE NOT RECOMMENDED FOR THOSE USE FOR BUSINESS PURPOSE. When i refer to Nokia 5130 Xpress music heading stateside mention the battery will keep powering for 12 day on stanby ( with a whopping six hours talktime. Please explain to me what is the wrong with this phone whether design problem or ……..

I not going to collect the phone until reply from your side
