What are your favourite experimental Nokia apps?

By Mike on 30 September 2009

Nokia-experimental-appsGLOBAL – The folk over at Nokia Beta Labs continue to showcase and give public access to some super experimental Nokia apps, in a dedicated section reserved for innovative research prototypes. The sort of stuff that gives us goosebumps of the good variety. The latest app to appear, and as featured in our video stream, is a new Nokia Braille Reader (watch the full video). We know many of you are keen users of the apps found on Beta Labs, but you may not be familiar with all the cool things going on over there on a more experimental tip. So we’ve decided to run a video poll to find out which ones (yes, by popular demand we’re allowing you to pick more than one thing) you like best.

Simply click on the videos below to get a full demo of the experimental Nokia apps, before casting your vote and sharing your comments.

It was alwasy Image Exchange on my N95 8GB. Just wish the transfer to S60v5 was faster wo that I could continue using it on my N97.

Love the app should replace the default gallery. Works fine on my 5800XM, now if only I could get Vodafone Ireland to release V30 firmware

photo browser FTW! Superb app. Should be bundled in the firmware instead of the standard browser we have now. Its easy to use and quite frankly WAY COOLER

There are some great apps out there. Sports Tracker, Friend View and Ovi Contacts not mentioned here were also useful and an interesting insight of things to come

c”, voted for the Photo Browser. I’m a big fan of this app because it brought something new to photo rundown on a Nokia device. I would love to see more improvements on this app like adding more features on it like maybe an ovi share link, or a link for twitpic, or editing feature to make the experience more fun, lively and interactive. cheers!
