MyDailyApp.com highlights

GLOBAL – For the last few weeks the folks over at mydailyapp.com have been casting their lines into the sea of apps, games and downloads available from the Ovi Store and fishing out the some gems for us all to enjoy. We’ve had look through their catch and picked out three little pearls we think are worth having a look at. And what’s more, there’s something special just for those in the USA.
First up comes a game that helps you learn. Dictiomania is dead simple in the way it works, but actually looks like a lot of fun and a great way to brush up on a new (or old) language before you get on the plane. Kick things off by choosing your spoken language and then one of three (currently French, Spanish, Italian and English are available) foreign languages to test yourself against. Strangely, for Finnish-based creators Movial, there’s no Finnish, which is a shame as we’re off to Nokia HQ next month and could do with expanding our vocab beyond Moi! Check out the video below and download it from the Ovi Store.
If you’re one of the 11million plus Netflix subscribers in the US, then you’ll love the official Netflix app for S60. Download the app and you can manage your DVD rental queue, check out movie trailers, get recommendations and find information on new movies. Right now the Netflix app works for S60 5th edition devices with S60 3rd edition coming soon. This one’s only for the folks in the US though, so as we can’t access it from Europe, let us know what you think below.
Now this one is a little unusual. The folks over at mydailyapp.com have their own view on what Vibrate by Pico brothers is for. We’ll leave it to you to decide if that’s really the case, but the one thing this app does is vibrate. Time to give the washing machine a rest?

Hi JBC,
we have created a version of Dictiomania which contains the Finnish too – Dictiomania Nordic, which can be downloaded from http://store.ovi.com/content/7161A4CC6FB14A62E040050A85321071/
In fact there are total 4 different apps each containing different sets of languages.
Kind regards,
Petri Tolppanen
