Good things showing the way

By JBC on 23 October 2009

Good-things-signpostLONDON, England – Good things got a boost this morning with the unveiling of the Good Things signpost. Twice the size of a double decker bus, the signpost is hanging from a crane near London’s Tower Bridge. The interactive signpost is pretty difficult to miss and marks the start of a campaign to help highlight Good Things and Ovi Maps and the incoming Nokia N97 mini.

Londoners can interact with the signpost by adding Good Things to Maps or texting 62010 with a message. The 40-foot high signpost is a breaker of records and actually points to people’s favourite places.

Alongside the signpost comes a nationwide competition where town residents across the country can vote to have a special one off concert for their town, featuring X-Factor’s Alexandra Burke. Anyone who votes for the winning town will automatically be entered into a draw to win tickets to the special gig.

And there’s more Good Things to come, including a traditional Finnish Christmas to help bring some festive cheer.

Check out the signpost on the Good Things section of the Nokia website.
