N900 video extravaganza – update

By JBC on 17 November 2009

N900-150-online-socialGLOBAL – We can’t get enough of the Nokia N900. If you’ve been hiding under a bushel, you might have missed our N900 video extravaganza. Starting last Friday, we’re rolling out a video every day for the next 30 (working) days to show off the N900’s smarts. The videos will be wide and varied. The whole thing kicked off thanks to the tremendous response from Conversations readers when we posed the simple question “What would like to see us do with the N900“. You asked, we’re answering. Check out the first three videos after the jump.

Yeah, I’m going to have to agree here…these videos are good and all, but it’d be nice to actually use the phone…I was happy about the 11/14 release date, until it went to 11/30 :(

Do you mean its out 30/11/09 in the UK?

I have one on pre order, just haven’t been able to find an ACTUAL release date.

Dont want to wait that long, I’m sure i read somewhere the stores have them right now?

No, 30/11/09 is the release date from http://www.newegg.com here in the US. The New York City Nokia Flagship store had some and quite a few people have purchased them, as well as a third-party retailer on http://www.amazon.com is shipping them now, or claiming to.

This is interesting, people at Nokia Philippines were not sure if N900 will be sold here in the Philippines.. It’s preposterous! Its a violation of Human Rights!

ROFLMAO! I also asked a friend from Nokia Philippines if this phone will evern be out. He said, “Not, yet.” “Yet” gave me some hope. Perhaps, we just need to introduce N900 more to the Asian market. There are lots hackers in the Philippines who would want to put their skills into good use. I ordered the phone from Amazon through a friend. It should arrive this month. Let’s help know bring the N900 to the Philippines!
