Nokia 5235 Comes With Music rolls into view
By JBC on 11 December 2009
GLOBAL – The new Nokia 5235 Comes With Music promises to bring a plethora of free music to users at a price they might not expect. Based on the 5230, this Comes With Music edition boasts the perfect mix of size, usability and of course as much music as users could ever want.
With unlimited access to the Nokia Music Store catalogue, users will be able to download, legally, as much music as they like over a 12 or 18 month period. The 5235 touchscreen device sports a whopping 33 hours of music playback and memory expandable to 16GB via microSD.
The Nokia Music Store is accessible directly from the homescreen, and once you’ve created your Music Store account and entered your Comes With Music subscription PIN code, all the prices will disappear, making downloading music even easier. You can also download music through a PC using Nokia Ovi Player.
The Nokia 5235 sports a bright 3.2-inch touchscreen, 2-megapixel camera and up to 18 days standby time. It also sports a 3.5mm audio output and the full suite of Ovi apps and services including Ovi Store, Ovi Contacts, Ovi Share and of course Ovi Maps with pedestrian and drive navigation.
The Nokia 5235 comes with recommended price of €145 before taxes and subsidies. The Nokia 5235 featuring Comes With Music will begin shipping in the first quarter of 2010. Local pricing details will follow.
To cooincide with this announcement, we’ve got a whole week of Comes With Music coming up on Nokia Conversations. From Monday, we’ll be showing off Comes With Music’s wares through the medium of video, and spotlighting some of the other Comes With Music devices currently available. Check back on Monday for more.

Hmm another downgrade from 5800. Nokia makes it maybe like Samsung: countless amount of slightly different Touch-phones where the costomer has no idea where the differences are….

Your reply makes Nokia look shameful…
Yea! Shame on you Nokia!!!
Just a few weeks ago on Nokia Capital Day, the big heads said lesser phones (to avoid model confusion) and better phones (better quality more features).
And look what we have; not another make of the 5800! Come on! How many version of this have we seen since the original 5800? Original; 5800 Navigation, Nokia 5230 and now this.
All the same phone with slightly different specs/hardware.
Were are the creative juice?

s its true buddy. they r nt saying any details regarding this release of 5235. i dunno what the hell nokia is doing with this phone. i m also in the same stage of yours, and i m gonna buy samsung monteS5620. it has front camera and wifi too. camera is 3.2 pixels. so its better to buy this when compared to 5235 and it also costs bout 9k only.

Nokia.
You have great engineers who makes best in class products but it seems marketing department sucks. I am confused what to buy. Where is focus…. Which one is your flagship products for young peoples, N900 which you are not able to bring in volume production or N97 whose OS you wanna kill or 5800 who is not getting software upgrade for kinetic scrolling.
Come on guys..people who joined your game 3 year back, already shows to world that 1 good product is enough to change the rule of game. And your are following the rules made by them.
Sincerely yours

Hi,
I was just wondering if a release date was any closer to announcing, please?
As a lover of classical music, I believe this phone is a unique proposition, in that I believe it’s worth it simply for access to the clearly rather excellent Comes With Music library – getting a phone is peripheral, but it does look rather OK: for example, it’ll run Spotify Mobile (not that a CWM subscriber would need the latter). So financiallya it’s a no-brainer, for me, and I’m dying to get my hands on it – I shall scrimp and save to make it happen!
Kind regards,
Jonathan M

Is anyone from Nokia actually reading this webpage?
“Nokia Conversations” – an oxymoron, it seems.
Hello?
Any languages spoken other than, Finnish, C++, and vapid marketing cobblers?

Nokia sucks. Models up on websites take a whole year to show up in stores. It kills the enthusiasm. I was planning on buying an n97 last year but it took ages to come. I settled for iPhone 3gs which infact was a wiser decision. This year I am tryin to choose between 5235 and a corby. Now cmon nokia don’t make me wait here. Learn some lessons.

I just bought a Nokia 5235 a few days back and already bitterly regretting it. All the blah blah about One years unlimited music is just crap. The moment you want to download a track the chances are that it may not be available for download, so why the blazes does Nokia display it???? Ok say you get to download the track the next stop is the ENTER/ REDEEM voucher were you come to realize that the whole thing is a big scam as there are NO vouchers given in the 1st place!!!

The phone sucks. The audio output is so low that u regret buying the phone in the first place…. It is just a downgraded version of 5800 with a very poor camera and devastatingly low audio output
