LONDON, England – Only few events are followed by millions of people worldwide. One of those has to be the wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton, which is taking place in London today.
This is such a big deal in the United Kingdom that Queen Elizabeth’s subjects have got an additional bank holiday to watch the event live, on TV or online. But I’m sure that many of you, regardless of nationality, will be doing the same.

ESPOO, Finland & NEW YORK, USA – Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company with more than 215,000 employees serving clients in more than 120 countries, will be taking on approximately 3,000 Nokia employees to support the continued delivery of Symbian software development and support services. The collaboration also includes plans for Accenture to provide mobility software, business and operational services around the Windows Phone platform to Nokia and other ecosystem participants.

MONACO – Nokia lined up with the rest of the NFC industry in Monaco last week, showing off the latest Near Field Communications has to offer. Most exciting of the week’s news was the announcement of the Nokia C7 unleashing its NFC capabilities when versions soon start shipping with Symbian Anna.
