SANTA CLARA, USA – Launched by O’Reilly, the Where 2.0 conference opened its doors yesterday in Santa Clara, CA.
To state the obvious, this conference is all about location. From all over the world people involved in this business are gathering together to exchange information about how to build apps, develop the strategy and distribute location-aware products.
We, at Nokia, are proud to be part of this fantastic movement since its early years: in fact, we strongly believe that new business opportunities and consumer benefits rise from location based services.
This is why we are participating and sponsoring the Where 2.0 conference.
Michael Halbherr is explaining in this video all the details of our participation:
First of all check out this space for latest news about Ovi Maps. Btw, we have just introduced the beautiful Ovi Maps 3D, have you seen it yet?
But if you are participating to the conference, then you get the full-blown experience: a keynote by Michael Halbherr, a session by Christof Hellmis and a developer workshop by Jan Nowak and Tilman Kamp.
You can also visit us at the booth where our best product managers will showcase Ovi Maps for mobile, Ovi Maps for web, with the recently introduced 3D feature (so, if you want to know how it works, this is your chance) and of course all the APIs in action.
Last but not least you can also meet yours truly: I will be glad to give you more info about all our location offering. I’ll see you there!
