SUNNYVALE, CA, United States – With the conclusion of the 2011 Calling All Innovators contest, the Grand Prize winners are ready to be revealed. At a developer event on Thursday evening in Sunnyvale, California, the top winner from two categories was awarded the top slot and the grand prize which includes prize money and marketing support for the winning apps.
The two Grand Prize winners are Sparkle, produced by 10tons and ShutterPro Premium, which comes from BLStream. Sparkle is the overall winner from the game category and ShutterPro Premium is the grand prize winner from the overall applications category.

The Calling All Innovators contest was unique this year because consumers and app users were asked to particpate in the voting process. More than 800 app submissions were received and as you can see in the list, published last week, some amazing apps were listed across the 17 categories. While not a condition for the contest, most applications up for voting were written in Qt and feature stunning user interfaces along with great core functionality

As a result of winning the Calling All Innovators contest, all category top winners receive $150,000 and the two grand prize winners will take home an additional $100,000. To add to the prize, Nokia is awarding a marketing promotion package valued at $1.9 million.
