A real mobile good news story from Canada

BRITISH COLUMBIA, Canada – It’s quite common to hear about bad news being delivered by mobile phones. People getting dumped by their partners with an SMS message. People learning that they’ve lost their jobs through similarly inappropriate communications media.

So here’s a good news story for once. Canadian broadcaster GlobalBC was delighted to announce its lottery results in a live broadcast. Nothing unusual there, until they realised the identity of the winning ticket owner…
