
GLOBAL – So the Xbox is now a television server, thanks to last week’s update to the game console’s software. And your Nokia Lumia can be used to plan, boast about and now even launch your console games using the brand new Xbox Companion app.
If you don’t recall the Xbox Companion app, here’s a reminder of the video we shot at Nokia World where the app was introduced:
So your games console is becoming an entertainment hub; and your smartphone is extending and mobilising your access to that hub. We’d like to know where you think the mobile side of this equation is going.
Here’s some of our predictions for future smartphone/console interaction. Choose the three you think are most likely to happen. We’ll keep tally of the results and the comments and report back next week.
