Chris Weber on Nokia Lumia 900 USA launch

Exclusive video interview with Nokia USA President

Published by Trevor Davies on January 10, 2012

LAS VEGAS, USA – It’s iconic, beautiful and fast . . . that’s President of Nokia in North America Chris Weber talking about the Nokia Lumia 900.

Well he would say that, wouldn’t he. But you only have to watch our video to see how Chris is genuinely delighted with the new mobiles that he can’t wait to start selling.

Chris dropped in for a chat with Nokia Conversations on the eve of yesterday’s big launch, full of enthusiasm and confidence about Nokia’s resurgence in America.

Announcing the sale of the Nokia Lumia 710 on Wednesday in America with T-Mobile, Chris goes on to talk about the Nokia Lumia 900 and the amazing proposition it offers with partner AT&T.

But don’t just take my word for it. Watch the interview with Nokia Conversations’ very own Phil Schwarzmann.

And read about the secrets of our video team’s success.

Let me first say Congrats on Nokia making the comeback to the US.  I love the 900 but have been cursed with small hands so was looking forward to upgrading from my phone to the 800.  I understand they will be sold unlocked at MS Stores but does that mean that consumers like me will need to pay unlocked prices or will these prices be equally as competitive.

Thanks for dropping by, G_T_A. Folks who try a Lumia find the OS/specs combo deliver a buttery smooth experience. Try it. You might like it, too.

Can’t wait to get my 16gb Nokia 900.  Cnet says it’s the phone for camera buffs.   Thank you Nokia for offering so much value than other phone companies that make us pay for all the extras, some endlessly.

With a zillion different models, introduced every month, u can never match the I-phone as a brand, status, feeling or whatever. At the end why do you really need so many different models? Focus on 5-7, one model per segment and thats all…. And dont update them so radically… better processr / ram is enough as a first update… second update slight change in the design…and dont name it different….give it time / space to build some brand relationship with the customers….. Why i wont buy Lumia ? Cuz u already have 3 different…..and in a next few months u will have 10 more….. Apple doesnt beats you with technology..it beats you with its brand strategy….
