Nicki Minaj kicks off Nokia Lumia 900 launch

NEW YORK, NY, United States – The smartphone beta test is over and pop sensation Nicki Minaj delivers one of best shows to hit the streets of New York City this year.

The Nokia Lumia 900 is hitting stores this weekend and to celebrate we threw a huge bash at Times Square in New York City.

Rising pop sensation Nicki Minaj delivered an exhilarating live performance; it’s obvious why she’s the first female solo artist to have seven singles on the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time.

This is one of the biggest and most important launches in Nokia’s history. It’s only fitting that Nicki Minaj helps us celebrate and get the party started.

Nicki Minaj delivered an amazing audio visual experience in Times Square that brought New York City to a standstill.

            So if I want Nokia to succeed in the U.S  and think the Lumia series and Windows Phone deserve a proper launch, …. I should keep using my Symiban?

            I love Symiban, because it still beats most on the market, but I also like Windows Phone a lot and only reason I haven’t got a Lumia 800 yet is because I havn’t gotten around to buying one yet.

    Who is Nicki Minaj?  I’m not joking… I have never heard the name before … (maybe I’m to old *Lol*)   

    Was hoping for a big artist as a special guest … but o well. more disappointing that this is suppose to be a big event ..and there is no live stream at all ..   :/

          There was 4D projections as well as visuals on displays around Time Square.  Look it up on YouTube, WMExperts has a video.

        Come on, after London, that is just not good enough..  .. the Deadmau5 event was to short, but still amazing …    this was almost embarrassingly short

        I was hoping Nokia and AT&T was bringing the big guns to take over the U.S.   , still hope I wasn’t wrong.. 

        but now I know why you didn’t make a big deal out of this event , and didn’t mention it on you pages before…

        Adele has currently 4

        and Rihanna has 3

        so Nicki Minaj  might have had many placements last year, but not anymore.  … I’ll bet that next year she will have none.

            I’m hating on the fact that Nokia don’t do a proper launch. 

            I could care less about this girls 13-year old fan base…. since they have no money to buy a phone…and they influence no one except their parents.

            I feel the Lumia series deserve better then a footnote.

            No mayor newspaper in the U.S  even mention what happened. ….how is that a success?

    Whose idea was to set up a second stage to the right of the main stage and put a bunch of VIPs with Lumias in their hand standing on this second stage? They completely blocked the view for about 300 people, including myself and my family. Why couldn’t these VIPs stand at the ground level? Who were they anyway?
