      This phone is designed to complement an equally attractive looking operating system – Windows Phone.

      If you want Symbian, there are plenty of stylish designed phones for you – C7, N8 – and soon the 808.  Enjoy.

        Windowsphone is an OS that will be sold by samsung also and many manufacturers. Nokia will be just one more. People will prefer lower price from samsung or any chinese manufacturer. Instead, Symbian is an exclusive Nokia brand. I will not buy a windowsphone from any manufacturer. Check market sales, even Microsoft is worry why people DO NOT buy windows phones…..

          It’s quite simple:
          The people had long enought simple phones. At this price range they are buying now smartphones instead. And there are the Windows Phone phones unable to deliver.

         its not designed for windows phone… it was designed for the N9 and Harmattan-Meego….

        and the design is derived from the Nokia N8 a Symbian phone….

          Windows Phone enhances the design of the ‘original’ shell, unlike Meego; the Symbian OS would sully it.

          Windows Phone is THE OS that this phone design was truly meant to be married to.

    2nd last photo is very cool and I wish it could run MeeGo instead of wp os as 4.3″ display is just perfect to use

        I have N9 but I hate that there won’t be any N9 successor and Nokia will only use N9′s features in low end dumb phones running some meltemi os….ideally I think bigger N9 with 4.3″ display would be nice

    Great phone, excellent OS… I just hate these pictures though. The angles, the tilted shots. the mirror? They really don’t do any favors for the Lumia 900.

    This phone’s design intertwine with the Metro UI so much it’s shockingly beautiful. I hope Pure View Windows phone can keep the same clean graceful design with the large camera, i have a feeling Nokia won’t disappoint in the years to come.
