Too bad the T-Mobile version, the Lumia 810, has untapered edges, which makes it look and feel like a brick. Doesn’t help that it’s black either. Taper some edges and give the buyer a choice of inductive charging back colors… they’ll be flying out the door.

@tmobile doesn’t care about @windowsphone they sell all the big name Androids but are losing market share. Apple is losing market share and now they will sell them too.

Nokia is still making great phones. If they keep delivering consistent quality – as soon as their marketplace picks up speed they’ll be a mainstream player. Unfortunately at the moment there are two gorillas in the space that take up all the static.

  • http://twitter.com/HeinzDobernig Heinz Dobernig

    Great smartphone, it impresses me

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Gavin-Fielke/719127993 Gavin Fielke

My last Nokia was an E71 and it had more features than the Lumia 820. I had a windows mobile phone before I had the E71 and even that had a S.I.P. program integrated.
If Nokia create a S.I.P. program for the phone so that I can use my local VOIP service I will buy one in a heartbeat but until that happens will not buy another Windows Phone.
At the moment I am stuck with a WP7 HTC Trophy and still must carry my E71 just for V.O.I.P. and connect it to the internet through the Trophy.
If Microsoft does not solve the lack of S.I.P. the WP8 phones will not be useful to most people in business so will continue to be reguarded as the intellectually disabled cousin of all other smartphones.

  • http://twitter.com/luismatoso Luis Matoso

i do not like Nokia. I love it. The Lumia’s series are the best smartphones in the market. (i do also love WP)

When 820 will be available in Estonia?

  • http://www.facebook.com/gurdial.singh.3762 Gurdial Singh

Till today, I have used more than 15 mobiles, mostly of Nokia but none of them disappointed me. I changed just for the sake of change or for upgradation. Out of all the mobiles, I particularly found that Nokia is value for money.

But, quality and features are not everything, Company must take into account what the people specially the young ones like. Samsung, Htc, Apple phones are bought either because of android or sheer ignorance.

So,Nokia should fill the windows market with much more applications than the andriod market. Most of them should be free of cost.

Different sets should be manufactured keeping in view the needs of teenagers’, businessmen, entertainment oriented people, status conscious folks and general public but there should not be compromise on the features.
I have written all this because I like Nokia and I want it to regain it’s top position.

  • Aatish

This lumia is very amazing and perfect sales in Azerbaijan

  • Bob Mills

I had 2 of these already. This phone has hurt my business!!!

Multiple problems with hardware and software

    Phone turns off
    Blue screen of death
    Short battery life

    Bugs in bluetooth software
Bugs in PC phone management software
    Mem expansion chip falls out
Microphone does not work and people can’t hear you

I could scream. I am getting a Galaxy SIII and will live happily ever after. A shame because the phone looks great, feels great and the camera was excellent. The Windows concept was brilliant but the reality was a re-run of the Windows Vista disaster.

  • Farid

Fantastic camera, brilliant color & design, this phone is fabulous. Eventhough lack in apps department, but didn’t mean it is lack of the essential apps. Sharing media has never been easier using skydrive, and rooms & group contact really help to keep in touch with friends & families. Keep it up, Nokia!
