We’re delighted to say that the enhanced version of our popular music streaming service on Nokia Lumia smartphones, Nokia Music+, is now rolling out for a monthly subscription fee of around £3.99 / $3.99 / €3.99 per month. Even better, there’s a free seven-day trial, which you can access easily within the application using your Nokia account details.

Nokia Music+ is now live in the UK, Ireland, US, Norway, Sweden, France, and Italy. And will be appearing in markets with the existing Nokia Music service as an update in the coming weeks.

Building on the same easy to use music discovery service, Nokia Music+ lets you create your own mixes or stream from playlists curated by our expert team of musicologists and international artists. Mixes can also be saved for offline playback if you have limited network connectivity or want to save your data allowance.

Singed up earlier this week and loving it so far. Really suits my listening habits and the price suits my pocket. Only criticism I have is with the app, it stops downloading offline mixes when the screen times out, even if the WiFi is set to stay on. I’m sure that will be easy to fix in a future update.

Yep – I spent £3.99 on a sandwich yesterday, and I can’t even remember what was in it. At this price, it’s almost a no-brainer.

Exactly, really hits that sweet price point.

it is a normal behavior of windows phones to disconnect from wifi whenthe phone screen gets locked. it will never be fixed. its how it is designed by microsoft to save power. if you do not want to disconnect from the wifi, disable the automatic screen lock.:)

With Windows 8 Phones like Lumia 920 it is possible to have wifi together with screenlock. Look advanced settings on Wifi settings.

Thanks for the work you’ve done with Nokia Music. Now what would be cool to see is a Nokia SIP Client that would allow me to handle my work calls on my phone now that WP8 is out.

Nokia Music is so great app for WP8 Lumia devices.
Unfortunatelly I’m owner of Samsung S3. But if this is going to be paid app, is there chance it will be available for non Nokia WP 8 devices?

Shame its £3.99 vs $3.99…Was expecting it to be £2.99… I know its only a pound, but when it doesn’t cost much in the first place its a large %age increase in what I was expecting. And when I already pay for Xbox Music… I might just pay every now and then, I find Nokia Music great for finding new music.

    Im in USA over L920
I turned on Mobile Network for high quality
    DOES NOT WORK!
    only WiFi works… what gives?

  • Stoltenbergen

Nahh.. this doesn’t work. I am in Norway, but it says I need a US billing address in order to buy stuff from Nokia Music or when I try to subscribe.

  • Thomas

Do I have to get active on the 7th day of the trial if I don’t like it or will it demote itself to Nokia Music (without the +) when I don’t actively extend the subscription? Could this be clarified Nokia, please?

  • Tom LIU

It is strange that I couldn’t find the subscription price until I googled and found this page!
