First up we have a comparison from Clinton Jeff from unleashthephones. Here CJ compares the low light imaging capabilities of the new Nokia Lumia 925 vs. the HTC One.

Naturally, you’ll want to know what the device is like in-hand. So take a look at what Nirave from ukmobilereview has to say on the matter. Nirave reckons ‘Nokia have done fantastically to offer an improved Lumia 920 and remove a chunk of the bulk and weight.’

For a side-by-side comparison to the Lumia 920, head over to Jay’s post on mynokiablog, where he has done just that, saying ‘The Nokia Lumia 925 felt noticeably lighter and the slimmer frame made it somewhat nicer to hold in the hand,’ though admittedly he says it boils down to personal preference.

If video is your thing Tomi aka gadgetsboy is on the case with his own hands-on. Pay attention to what he says about its low light capabilities if you were ever in doubt.

But what if you want to see all of the colours in the range of the Lumia 920? No worries! Sam J Pullen has got that under control and according him, they’re ‘absolutely gorgeous,’ especially the black version.

Finally we can take a look at Smart Camera on the Lumia 925. Mark Guim of thenokiablog caught up with one of the reps (sorry, didn’t catch your name in the video!) at the event and recorded this perfect demonstration.

Here are a couple of shots taken by Jason Friend (www.jasonfriend.co.uk), an award winning landscape and travel photographer based in the UK. The one above is the very first he took and below is a ‘nice and vibrant’ effort in low light.

So far Jason admits he loves the true 16:9 sensor on the Lumia 920. He’s also noticed something that is missing… #2instawithlove. After catching up with him he had this to add:

“It is great to be able to control the settings of the camera especially iso and Ev (exposure). The lens is also nice and sharp… And after all the lens is really one of the most important aspects of any camera.”

Next up we look at the vivid photography of Peter Goodbody (www.p3dro.co.uk).

Just by looking at his set of images you can see that they are truly stunning. The above graffiti and this stair case at the Odeon in Liverpool are particularly striking to me. It’s worth noting that Peter edits every photo he takes in Lightroom, even those from the Lumia 920.

Peter’s review is rather practical and based on whether the phone could produce images he’s happy with, while also fitting into his workflow. There are lots of positives including slow shutter speeds that help to capture sharp images thanks to OIS. He also reckons images ‘are sharp and impressively free of noise, even at high ISO’.

The cute doggie above belongs to Michael Palmer (www.michaelpalmer.com), as does the image. Unfortunately his testing turned out to be a disaster due to a fault with the unit. However, he did manage to produce one of his favourite pictures of the cute doggie above (Skip), and some great shots around London to boot.

Another Lumia 920 will be in Michael’s hands soon enough, so we’ll hopefully hear a happier tale next time… and see some more photos of Skip! In the meantime enjoy this video Michael shot with the Lumia 920 on a Photowalk in London.

Finally we have a camera review from Bouvanrooij (www.thegadgetbook.com). Overall he found the camera on the Lumia 920 to be ‘outstanding’. He’s been using it for one week and is positively ‘loving it’. Below you’ll find his video review or you can jump through to the written review on thegadgetbook.

So on Monday the 4^th March 2013, a preview of #2InstaWithLove app was released on the Windows Phone market place. High flying diving action in this one, exciting stuff!

We really like this tranquil scene submitted by Timothy. It’s calming and full of colour, just like a postcard.

This is what I meant by scary. There were a few similar Cinemagraphs but this was the best of the lot!

Christopher Lux captured this really cool guy jamming on his banjo. Not much to say apart from it needs a sound track! Awesome!

This Cinemagraph from Josemari Gago is cool in a couple of ways. The freaky bubble machine is just one of them. The other is a moment when a bubble on the right comes close to the camera then retreats back, in an almost seamless motion. Very nice to watch!

Donald Strand submitted a string of amazing Cinemagraphs all captured on the subway. I feel this one is the best. It’s simple but framed very well and there are hidden gems everywhere. Well done Donald!

Well, this is simply hilarious. Gifted with a bit of snow, Duncan Nagle went outside and recreated a skiing trip. Are those ski poles legit? Take a closer look guys! Well done Duncan and thanks for the laughs, brilliant!
