I purchased Nokia N900 last month.
I was not satisfied with the battery performance.
First it will take too much time to recharge the battery.
Even if you see “Battey full” after charging, and re-plug the charger, it will start charging again.
Wi-Fi is the most battery consuming item in N900.
With Wi-Fi on, GPS on, and a video playback of 1 hour with full brightness of screen, the battery is almost finished.
To save battery, I switch off bluetooth, switch off Wi-Fi, lower brightness of display..it will keep upto 1 day of normal usage.

love this phone, but on day 2 of having it i can tell i need to buy another battery or two, or another charger at work. but with it being so powerful i’ll put up with it. definatley turn off the bluetooth. but I like that that bluetooth is easy to turn off and on, so thats doable. keep the videos coming. I learning alot of shortcuts already! though how bout giving us 60 seconds instead of 30… its a little too fast

The stop motion video was awesome.
I’m sold. I just wish it was supported on Rogers/AT&T bands for 3G…

I noticed you are running on 2.5g. 3g will burn the battery faster. when i dont need internet i switch to 2.5g and it can go for a day or two normal use without the need to charge
