EVEREST, Himalayas – The Nokia E71 mightn’t appear the athletic sort, but it recently earned some extreme endurance kudos courtesy of climbing Mount Everest alongside world-renowned climber Marc Batard, with Nathalie Lamoureux (pictured) video blogging and reporting on the climb using Nokia’s extreme Eseries smartphone.
LONDON, England – At first I didn’t think anything of it. Whilst secretly I was hoping that someone might actually visit, with no visitors in the 15 minutes or so after I set the post live, I kinda gave up on it. But a few hours later, I took a look at the log, and lo and behold, I’ve had a whole bunch of people come to look at The Blog In My Pocket. Well waddya know! Having simply put two rather feeble blog posts on, I figure I better do some more, so here’s an update from my brand new, pet project.
GLOBAL – With the mobile phone becoming an integral part of our everyday life, the notion of handset etiquette and how we use it in different social and public situations is still highly relevant.
San Francisco, USA – Excuse us banging our own drum for a second but, Ewan at SMS Text News gave Nokia kudos for our blogger outreach work. He’s written an article about how different device manufacturers deal with bloggers, which in itself is really cool.
