GLOBAL – Hot on the heels of yesterday’s news of an over-the-air software update coming to N900, comes word of the Ovi Store swinging its doors open on N900. We spent much of last month exploring the talents of the Maemo 5 handset in a series of bite-size 30-second videos (watch them here), so news of the Ovi Store going live on N900 is a welcome addition, enabling you to hunt for and download apps even quicker than before. GLOBAL – It’s been a great year here on Conversations, packed with news and heartfelt opinion on heaps of new Nokia products and exciting services that have ignited a deluge of discussion . Poll results – what’s your favourite N900 video so far

GLOBAL – Every working day for 30 days, we’re showcasing a different facet of the Nokia N900’s brilliance in a 30 second video clip. The end result will be 900 seconds showing off Nokia’s latest masterpiece and the Maemo secret sauce that makes it so tasty.

Last week we decided to celebrate reaching the dozen mark by asking you what had been your favourite video so far, and from the spread of votes it seems there’s very little about the N900 you don’t like.

N900 videos: RSS feeds, touchscreen gaming, sharing photos and contacts

GLOBAL – We’re still rooting round the N900’s basement uncovering all manner of Maemo goodness to play with. This week we have mostly been subscribing and reading RSS feeds, playing games using motion control and that luscious touchscreen, geotagging and sharing photos and giving our contacts the once-over thanks to the rather wonderful Hermes app. Now that was a mouthful! My three favorite Nokia devices ever, Tommi Vilkamo

ESPOO, Finland – Our recent run on spotlighting our favourite Nokias here on Conversations has gathered a bit of pace. So much so, that we’ve decided to go beyond our own little corner of Nokia House and get other folks in on the act. Over the coming weeks we’ll have columns from people both within Nokia (but outside of Conversations) and folks outside Nokia.
