GLOBAL – That’s right folks, this Friday we’ll be pulling down the reader survey, tucking our statistical napkins into our shirts and digesting all the data. We don’t know yet, but there might well be wine involved as well. Finding out what you think of this site is the best and fastest way for us to give you more of what you want. Be honest, be concise, or in depth, but most of all tell us what you think.

BOSTON, USA – As I said back in June before I left for holidays, I’ve stepped down from day to day operations here at Nokia Conversations. During the next few weeks I’ll be helping the new guy transition into his role as Editor-in-Chief.
I could go on for ever as to why this guy is so great, but suffice it to say that not only is he experienced enough to take on the task, but has the smarts to take the site to the next level.
With that, I’d like to welcome Phil Schwarzmann to the Nokia Conversations team and wish him the best.
We’ve asked him to do an introductory post. Click on over to read it.
GLOBAL – Anyone who’s started on a new blog knows how difficult the first post is. It’s as if your years of writing expertise have regressed back to kindergarten, with a red crayon in hand, and warm, wet feeling in your bottom. (yes, I was a “late bloomer”)

ESPOO, Finland – After about 18 months building and growing this site (with a great team and lots of support, mind you), I’m stepping down as Editor-in-Chief of Nokia Conversations. Starting today, I’ll be stepping out of the day to day operations of the site and ancillary channels. After taking my holidays in July, I’ll be providing support to the new guy (introduction coming later). I might pen a few articles in August and September, but after that I will no longer be on the team.
Read on for what this means for Nokia Conversations

ESPOO, Finland – Wow. Today is our first anniversary (we went public on 21 April 2008*) and it’s amazing what we’ve accomplished in one year. When we set off on this adventure, we sort of had our own ideas on how it would be received, what challenges we would face, and where we would be at this stage. But, we really came to this with open minds and few expectations, keeping us ready to grow and respond to conditions as needed.
As with many milestones, we’d like to pause and take stock of some of our highlights (and “lowlights”) and even think a bit about the coming year. Please read on and see if you remember the year the same way we do.

GLOBAL – Hello folks. As you can see, we have completely redesigned the Nokia Conversations site. Our stories and videos are still the same, but there were a ton of reasons we needed to change the look and platform of the site for the better.
What I’d like to do, once you click through, is show you some of those things (and give you a warning of something that broke badly)…

GLOBAL – We don’t like to stand still here at Conversations. The team have been busy working behind the scenes to put together something of a world first – the Nokia Conversations Blogbite. Together with Dan and Rob at Blogbite, a brand new service which takes the essence of a blog, such as Conversations, and turns it into an entertaining audio show, we’re bringing Conversations to an even wider audience, including the visually impaired, as well as enabling regular readers to listen at your leisure.

ESPOO, Finland – James and I are back from Nokia World, where we hustled our butts off to get some choice stories and sound-bites. There were a lot of things that were going on and channels we used to keep you all informed and also for us to watch how things were going on.

ESPOO, Finland – While all of us here at Nokia Conversations like a good yarn, the ones we usually chase are about the amazing and great things people do with mobiles or online services. But, I must say that occasionally I cross over some really bizarre or, shall I say, “interesting” tidbits. From nude pics to prison breaks to the really fake, the stories from the the mobile Twilight Zone never cease to amaze me.
Want to see what I found recently? Read on.

GLOBAL – Every so often here at Nokia Conversations we get a question or comment related to support, such as how to do something, where to find an update, or where to find a repair shop.
