It’s been a tough one to pick, but we’ve got a winner. GLOBAL – Over the past month we’ve witnessed the usual array of firmware and software updates across Nokia devices and services, including a recent firmware freshen-up for N96, a new version of N-Gage and the beta release of Communication Center 2.0 yesterday.
INTERNATIONAL – If you’re new to Widsets, the concept is dead simple. Basically WidSets is a smart little mobile app that lives on your phone, and goes about distilling your favourite sites and web content in the form of visual bite-size widgets that are simple to collect and navigate. The idea is that you can collect them, share and even create your own, and there are well around 5,700 out there.
LONDON, England – That headline is taken from the last line of Amy Gahran’s latest Nokia related post on Contentious.com. And it’s a very reasonable question. From Nokia Conversations’ side at least, we’re planning to follow this through to the end.
It’s not fun if a device you cherish stops working after a software update. Unfortunately, this is exactly what happened to Amy Gahran.
